For the past 30 years Midwest Tape has been exclusively serving public libraries and has been committed to helping them deliver the best experiences to their patrons. And, through the years libraries—as well as their patrons—have continued to evolve...so have we.
Thirty years ago we made our first sale to Toledo Lucas County Public Library and ever since, we’ve made a point of listening to the feedback of our customers to help deliver the best librarian and patron experiences possible.
Coming in early 2020, we are excited to announce the launch of a new Midwesttape.com and CVSmidwesttape.ca experience that will help make your collection development efforts easier.
The New Midwesttape.com and CVSmidwesttape.ca
The New hoopla Library Portal
The new Midwest Tape website will also include a new hoopla library portal with enhanced reporting and new tools to customize and manage your hoopla collection. By bringing the transactional hoopla collection onto midwesttape.com, we will make it easier to compare your physical and digital collections and importantly, lay the foundation for the next generation of hoopla.
hoopla 2.0 Beta Update
As you may know, we announced at ALA’s Summer Conference in June that we are expanding hoopla to be able to host both one-user-one copy digital titles AND our ground-breaking instant collection of 800,000+ titles. We have been so appreciative of the encouragement and support from so many of our library partners and are happy to share that our beta-testing of this revolutionary new approach will start in Q1 next year.
As we move ahead we’ll be with you every step of the way, with the training, transparency, flexibility, and empowerment we hope you have come to expect from Midwest Tape.
Thank you for all you do and for your continued support.
